Racial inequities in healthcare still exist, which affects people of color’s access to care and results in subpar care quality. This project proposal aims to address these disparities by implementing initiatives that focus on improving access and enhancing the quality of healthcare services for marginalized communities. By addressing the underlying factors contributing to these disparities, we can work towards achieving equitable health outcomes for all individuals, irrespective of their racial or ethnic background.
Objectives

- Advocate for policies that reduce the rate of uninsurance and increase access to affordable health insurance options for people of color.
- Collaborate with local organizations and insurance providers to raise awareness about existing insurance options and enrollment processes.

- Improve Quality of Care:
- Implement implicit bias training for healthcare professionals to enhance cultural sensitivity and reduce disparities in diagnosis and treatment.
