This project proposal aims to promote women’s economic empowerment in South Asia through the establishment and development of home-based enterprises. The project will focus on empowering women entrepreneurs by providing them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to establish and manage successful home-based businesses. By leveraging the potential of home-based enterprises, we can address gender inequality, increase women’s economic participation, and foster inclusive economic growth in the region.
In South Asia, women face significant barriers to economic empowerment, including limited access to education, lack of skills training, and societal norms that restrict their mobility and participation in the formal workforce. Home-based enterprises present a viable solution as they allow women to work from the comfort of their homes while balancing their domestic responsibilities.
