This project proposal aims to address the intersecting issues of women empowerment and climate change by promoting gender-responsive climate actions. Women, particularly in developing countries, face numerous challenges related to climate change impacts, such as increased vulnerability, limited access to resources, and exclusion from decision-making processes. By empowering women and integrating gender perspectives into climate action strategies, we can achieve more effective and equitable solutions to climate change mitigation and adaptation.
Project Objectives:
- Empower women to actively participate in climate change decision-making processes at local, national, and international levels.
- Enhance the capacity of women to engage in climate-resilient livelihoods and sustainable entrepreneurship.
