The organization is a long-term training and support programmes centre dedicated to dealing with girl child education and women empowerment programmes on poverty eradication by promoting entrepreneurship and leadership. It promotes small productive self-employment through accelerated training skills and provision of grants as startup capital, as well as mentoring and technical assistance during the business start-up phase.

The challenges that orphan girl children are doing through in life after the death of the parents is calling on us to rise to help them out. These young people (girls) are unfairly treated by the people they may call relatives to stay with. They sometimes opt either to run to streets or go for early married or go to work in bars or work as maids in people’s houses. The project xxxx gets orphan girl children/ youths off the streets, some from very poor families where there is no one to help. We show them love, their importance in life, the need for them to get school education, help them in fulfilling their dreams in life and give them a new hope and perspective in life. After they have joined the Centre, they are taking schools according to their grades, buying the uniforms, paying them schools’ fess, providing healthy food.

We are looking for funds to reach 100 girl children in the year YYYY. Widows are not spared in the challenge since some are being discriminated and their properties left by the husbands are grabbed by their male relatives and being left hope less with children to take care of. The project is addressing the issues of educating the girls and women so that they can be able to provide for themselves and their families in the future.

To initiate the programs for widows in the community, the organization have partnered with some local professional volunteers who have help in the launched the first phase of the” Building a better tomorrow for girls and women project” with sponsoring training in computer courses, dressmaking handicraft activities. Then project target young widows (age 18yrs 30yrs) who have no basic trainings in any field and giving them a chance to pursue the course of their choice. This training programme is being attended by 30 vulnerable widows from the community. The Organization has not achieved much of its objectives in all the activities because of lack of funds. The organization is targeting to empower 50 more women (widows) within the next one year. These women are capable of making a positive impact in the community if they can be supported to have training in the following areas: computer, dressmaking, business skills, saloon etc.

Some of the girls we are supporting are victims of rapes, sexual violence and war, aged 13 to 22. At least two hundred young people, especially young girls’ victims of sexual violence and rapes, children affected by war, and HIV/AIDS orphans are expected to be progressively trained in different handicrafts, business management skills, and life skills for self-employment creation in the second phase of our project. It is our hope that, through their behaviors and initiatives, they will produce a ripple effect on others and thus provide their contributions to creating meaningful social change in their communities.
